Our Story

How We Met and Got Engaged!

Last August, Kinsey received a text message from her friend, Annie Susemihl. Annie said she just fished with this awesome guy and that she needed to hang out with him. Annie talked both of them up to one another and they both were super excited. Kinsey made the first move the next day, by sliding into his DM's. Jordan replied right away and they made plans to go on their first date. Later that week, Jordan and Kinsey went on their first date at Hapa Sushi. Kinsey knew when she opened the door that this was the start of something different. The two instantly hit it off and deleted their dating apps off of their phone after their second date. And the rest is history. Kinsey and Jordan bought a house together in April and are super happy living outside of Denver near the mountains. Both sets of Kinsey's parents were visiting Colorado, so they had an impromptu house warming party with their families. While everyone was gathered in the kitchen making toasts about the new house, Jordan made an amazing speech and got down on one knee and proposed. Kinsey, of course, said yes!

Changing Plans Due to COVID-19

We are super bummed to have to change up our destination wedding plans. We value the health and safety of our guests more than anything and have decided to move our wedding locally to Colorado instead of getting married in Mexico. To our friends and family who already had a deposit down, etc., we are so sorry if you are out any money :( We hope you understand the circumstances as the situation is beyond our control! We are still planning on going the weekend of November 7th to Mexico, if you want to keep your travel plans. Thank you and we love you all!

For all the days along the way
