We're Getting Married!

In January 2022, Jordan and Kelly matched on Hinge. Kelly was over the app dating scene and ready to get rid of it when a handsome guy sent her a message. At the time, Kelly was in grad school for occupational therapy and was always open to being taken out for a free coffee. She gave him her number and deleted the app, not thinking much would come from it. Jordan had a hectic schedule as a cardiovascular surgery PA at Abbott Northwestern and a dad to four kids. They both had limited time to make a first date happen, and it took them over a month of numerous canceled plans and rescheduling to finally find a time. They agreed to set an hour to meet at Quixotic, a local coffee shop by Kelly’s school. Before they knew it, they had been talking for three hours, and it felt like they had known each other for years. On their second date, they walked over 8 miles in the cold around the lakes. Jordan had started forming blisters from his shoes around mile 4, but he didn't want to tell Kelly because he didn't want to stop talking with her. From the first time they met, they knew there was something special between them. Kelly's parents have never heard her talk about a guy like the way she did Jordan, and Jordan's coworkers kept telling him he was "glowing" when he would come to work. Shortly after they started dating, Kelly met the kids and fell in love with them just as quickly as she did Jordan. Fast-forward two years…Jordan got down on one knee and asked Kelly to marry him in the coffee shop where they first met. Obviously, she said yes, or you wouldn't be here reading their story! Over the last few years, Jordan, Kelly, and the kids have built relationships around lots of fun, love, and laughter. They can’t wait to make new memories and share their special day with friends and family!
