Jordan stole Karli's heart during some intramural flag football at UW Eau Claire. When Karli's team was short a guy and Jordan played the game before her, she was brave enough to ask him to play on their team. Five touchdowns and three interceptions later, Jordan had Karli wrapped around his finger. Let's just say, the rest was history.

Jordan and Karli took a trip to Austin, Texas to scope of the possibilities of moving there in the near future. The morning of Friday, June 7, Karli hopped into the shower to get ready for the day and Jordan said, "I'll be right back, I'm going to grab us some coffee." Low and behold, Jordan never came back. An Uber driver was outside to pick up Karli and take her to this 'secret location'. Upon arrival, Jordan in fact was waiting with coffee on the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge. Flashback to 5 years ago, Jordan asked Karli to be his girlfriend by bringing her coffee to the UWEC library during finals. The coffee cup read, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Fast forward to the day, as Jordan hands Karli her vanilla latte, on the Starbucks cup it reads, "Will you be my wife?" Then he gets down on one knee. Of course, Karli sobbed and said YES! For the rest of day, they went upon exploring Austin, specifically Hamilton Pool Reserve. IT WAS AMAZING! Jordan had dinner reservations in place at Steiner's Ranch, with this amazing view over Lake Travis. As they are seated at their table, both of their families were waiting. Jordan had this surprise for Karli as well, Karli was yet again brought to tears. Jordan and Karli couldn't have had a better day, and now cannot wait for their big day!
