Jordan and JP met in Plainview, Texas, at the Mark Marley's Go Big or Go Home BBQ Bash through mutual friends. Jordan stopped by to say "hello" to a friend at her booth and planned only to stay for a few minutes and JP was at the same booth. They started talking and a few minutes turned into a couple of hours. They then went their separate ways to join other friends at the event. Jordan later learned JP had tried to locate her at the event to ask her for her phone number but was unable to find her. He later reached out on social media. Jordan didn't respond immediately, it took JP messaging her a second time for her to respond. They messaged back and forth for a little bit when he finally asked for her number, and as they say, "the rest is history." They went on their first date at the end of June 2017, where JP cooked one of his favorite meals: spaghetti and (Hrbacek-meat) sauce with Caesar salad. From that moment on the two have been inseparable.
