Looking back now it pains Jordan to know that one of her first interactions with Josh was him being right. Shocking right!? Jordan was leaning back in a chair in a computer lab when Josh told her to stop, and that he was worried she would hit her head. Jordan ignored him and told him not to tell her what to do. The next thing you know Jordan and Josh’s mutual friend Denae was helping Jordan up off of the floor. Jordan not only fell out of the chair, but hit her head on the brick wall before her head hit the tile on the floor. She ended up with a concussion and a serious bruise to her ego. A few months go by and Jordan and Josh talk little to none. Josh’s favorite time of the year, Christmas, became even a little more magical in 2019 when Jordan messaged him. Josh posted a bottle of yum yum sauce on his Snapchat story, and Jordan couldn’t help but sliding up to let him know that she also loves that amazing hibachi sauce. The two ended up talking non stop for the next few months, and then April rolled around. Jordan woke up Easter morning to her parents telling her to check the security footage from the front door. Jordan laughed and asked for what, and her parents told her that the Easter bunny was caught on camera. Josh stopped by the house before Jordan woke up and dropped her off an Easter basket. Jordan was completely shocked that a boy would be willing to make a gesture like this for her, and she knew for sure that she needed to have a conversation with her brother and father now. Jordan had always had a rule in place that if any boy wanted to be her boyfriend they had to meet her father and brother, and that they had to give the approval. Andy and Garrett both agreed that Josh seemed like a nice guy, and agreed that Josh seemed like a respectful young man. Jordan and Josh made it official on April 14th, 2020. After five years of dating Josh proposed to Jordan in Jacksonville, Florida, at the friendship fountain the day it opened. Not only was that location beautiful, it had more meaning than Jordan realized. When the two were walking taking engagement photos Jordan stopped in her tacks. There it was, this beautiful blue mosaic wall that she took pictures in front of for her 18th birthday years ago. After the two finished taking engagement photos they went to Jordan’s favorite restaurant in the whole world, Matthew’s. April 19th, 2025 is a day to remember for the two love birds forever, and the day Jordan got to say yes!
