As they say, the best love stories begin with friendship. Jordan and Joey met at Landstown High School seventeen years ago, and spent the last fourteen years as close friends. When Joey left for college at James Madison, Jordan took advantage of the situation and attempted to steal his best friend, Zack. Joey couldn't have that, and despite trying hard to dislike Jordan, the two became close friends. The years were filled with adventures, laughs, bottles of champagne, life milestones, flirtation, obvious attraction, and an incredible first kiss at Kenny's bachelor party, which really got this party started. After a year of imagining a life together as a couple, they realized they were made for each other (though Jordan swears she knew much sooner). Joey finally pulled his head out of his ass and asked Jordan to be his girlfriend on May 20, 2022 at The Oyster Farm in Cape Charles. They will be married on the same date at the same place a year later.
The ring arrived early from the designer, and Joey nearly popped the question during a wine weekend getaway simply from pure excitement (and wine)! He held off, and the following week Jordan and her mom traveled to Atlanta for a 3-day work trip. Joey stayed at Jordan's place to babysit the pups, Theo, Ralph, and Bella. Over those three days, Joey plotted a welcome home surprise. When Jordan arrived home, sweaty and tired from a day of delayed travels, she walked into a room filled with some of her favorite things: 3 puppies with "I do" bandanas, chicken parm, Cesar salad, brookies, a clean living room, Bridgerton instrumental music, fresh flowers, a decently handsome man on one knee, and a diamond. She said yes, got tackled by Ralph, and they kicked off an incredible weekend celebrating with family and friends.
