Jordan and I met while grocery shopping on a random Tuesday night. We reached for the same apple, met eyes, and instantly knew... ...Just kidding! We met online like everyone else these days. Somewhere between swiping left and endless bad first dates, we managed to pick each other out of the crowd. If you ask Jordan, he'll tell you he'd been following my page for a while before I actually responded. Oops! When we finally connected, we met for drinks which turned into dinner which turned into dancing barefoot to Chris Stapleton. In all seriousness, it was perfection. Thanks, Match.com!
Jordan and I were on vacation in Europe visiting family and decided to make a few side trips while we were there. On our first morning in Paris, Jordan told me he made breakfast reservations on a river cruise so we got dressed up, walked down to the Seine, and prepared for a delicious breakfast with views. As we were walking along the river, Jordan paused to look at the Eiffel Tower then got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked me to marry him. It was the most perfect, intimate moment as the sun rose over the city. After an impromptu engagement photo shoot with the photographer he had hidden, we spent the remainder of the day eating croissants, climbing the Eiffel Tower, and walking the city. It was the perfect Parisian day!
We can't wait to celebrate the next chapter in our relationship with those who mean the most to both of us. We are honored and humbled that you would share this day with us. We can't wait to see you all on August 12th!
