Becoming Booker-Medley

I’ve always had a pretty artsy upbringing, music around the house, singers in the family etc. It was only natural that I’d go to arts school! Tre happened to be going to the same arts magnet school and we crossed paths several times. We had mutual friends and had spoken quite a few times (He didn’t know at the time but I always thought he was cute). Tre will tell you that he always had a little crush on me, honestly I’m sure he did. I was pretty cute back then (I still am). It wasn’t long before we started talking and hanging out. I was working on a musical and needed some extra stage hands and our mutual friend introduced us. We started working on the show and texting all the time about girl problems etc etc (like most middle/high school boys our age that haven’t yet admitted that they dream about rainbows and unicorns). We eventually started going out a lot, with friends and then alone. Those hangouts evolved into dates and eventually into us dating on and off for the last 6 years. We even went to the same college for dance! Everyone knew we were gonna be married one day and I couldn’t be happier to have found my soulmate. We compliment each other in the strangest way, our craziness, our type A & type B personalities, you know how it goes. I can honestly say that what we have is real love and we’ve never been happier!
