We met during the Fall of 2015 while we were in high school. We were both on the cross country team which is where we got to know each other. We started hanging out with the same friend group and got to know each other better.

The proposal happened at a place that had meaning to both of us, Uncle John’s Cider Mill. That cider mill in particular hosted several cross country meets that we ran at throughout our high school careers. We both love the fall season and visiting a cider mill every year is a tradition, which made Uncle John’s a perfect spot and also an unsuspecting one. Jordan was told that we were getting "family pictures" that day. We broke away from the family and wandered down a row of trees. Once alone Jared popped the question which Jordan enthusiastically said YES!
