The island is full of beautiful beaches, incredible scenery, and amazing local food.
Some favorite beaches include Poipu Beach, Hanalei Bay, and Tunnels Beach - Perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing in the sun. The Na Pali Coast is one of the most breathtaking sights on the island and can be experienced by boat or helicopter tour, or by hiking part of the Kalalau Trail.
If you enjoy hiking, Waimea Canyon - known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific"- offers stunning viewpoints and trails.
Be sure to enjoy the local food as well, from fresh poke and seafood to food trucks and shave ice.
Because the island is spread out, we recommend renting a car. Rideshare services are available but can be limited and may have longer wait times depending on time and location.
