Things To Do - Bellingham

The Wedding Website of Jordan Brown and Jacob Cox
Welcome to Bellingham, the City of Subdued Excitement 🎉 Bellingham is a hidden gem north of Seattle, nestled between Mount Baker and Bellingham Bay, with views of the San Juan Islands. Summer is the absolute best time to visit, with countless hiking trails, breweries, two cute downtowns to explore, and amazing weather. Below are just some of our favorite things to do when we're visiting in Bellingham. We hope you have a wonderful time!
Bagelry

Bagelry

1319 Railroad Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225

The best bagels in the world. Hands down.

Avenue Bread - Fairhaven

Avenue Bread - Fairhaven

1135 11th Street, Bellingham, WA 98225

Jacob & Jordan's favorite spot for sandwiches in Bellingham - they have delicious breakfast items, too!

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro

1107 Railroad Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225

We'll let Jacob decide if the Boundary Bay IPA is better than his favorite Georgetown IPA, Johnny Utah 😏 Jordan's first job was working at this brewery in high school. It's a great place to grab a local beer and some PNW food after exploring downtown Bellingham!

Kulshan Brewing Co - Trackside Beer Garden

Kulshan Brewing Co - Trackside Beer Garden

298 West Laurel Street, Bellingham, WA 98225

Trackside is a fun spot where we meet up with friends for drinks when we're back in town. It's close to the water (like everything else in Bellingham) and has some great photo ops by the "Acid Ball" and the gorgeous rebuilt Granary. You might be able to spot the ivy shaped into a heart on the side of the building, facing W Chestnut St ❤️

Anthony's Hearthfire Grill, Bellingham

Anthony's Hearthfire Grill, Bellingham

7 Bellwether Way, Bellingham, WA 98225

The best patio view in town! It's a little more expensive but a great spot if you have time for happy hour. Jordan worked here all throughout college and likes to think she's still famous here.

Taylor Shellfish Farms

Taylor Shellfish Farms

2182 Chuckanut Drive, Bow, WA 98232

Enjoy the freshest shellfish you'll literally ever have in your life! It's a bit of a drive (25 minutes), but the views along Chuckanut Drive are gorgeous and definitely worth it.

Bellingham Boardwalk

Bellingham Boardwalk

Bayview Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225

Grab a coffee and go for a morning walk out over the bay on the Bellingham Boardwalk. Amazing views, and the absolute best place to take a deep breath and relax ☺️

Lake Padden Golf Course

Lake Padden Golf Course

4882 Samish Way, Bellingham, WA 98229

We've golfed here every time we've visited Bellingham! It's pretty common to see deer, bobcats, coyotes, and other local wildlife hanging out on the greens. Luckily they never have to move for any of our shots.

Fairhaven

Fairhaven

Bellingham, WA 98225

A cute little neighborhood right on the water, full of historic charm and local shops.

Boulevard Park

Boulevard Park

Bayview Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225

Another beautiful place to see the views that Bellingham has to offer. You can grab a drink at Woods Coffee, and the Bellingham Boardwalk actually connects all the way from here to Fairhaven, crossing directly in front of the Chrysalis Hotel.

Whatcom Falls Park

Whatcom Falls Park

1401 Electric Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98229

Beautiful trails throughout the park!

Larrabee State Park

Larrabee State Park

245 Chuckanut Drive, Bellingham, WA 98229

Awesome place to explore the tide pools!

Mt. Baker Ski Area

Mt. Baker Ski Area

Mount Baker Highway, Deming, WA 98244

The Mount Baker Highway is a beautiful road to take up to the mountain, with lots of hiking options and gorgeous views during the summer! It's about an hour and a half drive from town to the top of the mountain.

For all the days along the way
