Groom
Words from Best Man “Hayden’s the kind of guy you want to have around when the fit hits the shan. He’ll always have your back and he might even cook you pasta after a slamming a handle of Bacardi. Oh, and if you didn’t think that was impressive, he doesn’t get hungover, a superhuman. If you’re in search of a lifelong friend who will tell it to you straight and has a genuine interest in your well-being, he’s your man.”
Bride
She is more than a friend; she is someone who has embraced every quality of a role model since we were younger, she is my big sister. Jordan always had a constant influence on me to do the best I can from sports to school, and I honestly don’t know how I would’ve had the courage to do those things if it wasn’t for her to set the example for me. We grew up watching our favorite wedding movies on repeat, and if that doesn’t tell you how ready we’ve been for this moment then I don’t know what can! There isn’t one time she hasn’t been there for me, either in the room next to mine in our childhood home, or down the hall in our college dorm, she’s always a Facetime away. My heart feels so sparkly and excited to be standing next to you on your day, I love you sis! - Taylor, Maid of Honor
Best Man
The Man, The Myth, The Rooster! An absolute legend! I met Rooster at U of A, and while he thought I was an "A$$hole" at first (his words), apparently I grew on him, and we soon became great friends. I am very proud to call this crayon eater my best friend and so excited to have him standing next to me at my wedding!
Maid of Honor
The best middle sister I've ever had! The one person who laughs at all of our inside jokes, responds to every one of my dog snapchats, and is definitely not afraid to tell me when I have a hair out of place or need to put on some make-up. She's been preparing for MOH our whole lives and incredibly grateful to have a sister like Taylor by my side.
Groomsman
More than just the father of the groom, Todd shaped the man I am today. I guess he owes Jordan a big apology... just kidding! Throughout my life, my dad has been a close confidant, advisor, and friend. I couldn't be happier to have him by my side for the most important day of my life.
Bridesmaid
Thank you U of A for the crazy hard classes, the sleepless nights, and the random petting zoos that would appear on campus — if it weren’t for that, Sienna and I might’ve never met! We had almost every class together while also living and working in the same dorm, so it was rare you’d ever see one of us without the other. So incredibly grateful for a friend like you by my side through college and now by my side on my wedding day!
Groomsman
The Great White Buffalo is a rare animal, you will distinguish him by his large stature and fantastic moves on the dancefloor. As one of my oldest friends I met over ten years ago at freshmen year football tryouts, I am honored to call Sumner a Groomsman and one of my closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Gabi S. aka "Gabis", has been my best friend since freshman year of High School! We lived an whole hour apart but were brought together by Carondelet. We used to spend our days getting ready together for football games and High School dances, and now we are getting ready for our weddings. Can't believe, as fate would have it, even though we moved on to different states, we each got engaged a week apart and ended up adopting dogs that look like twins! I would not have survived High School without you and would not want anyone else by my side!
Groomsman
I met John in Organic Chemistry and boy did we have a covalent bond. I taught him how compounds are formed and he taught me compound lifts and proper form in the weight room. John has one of the strongest work ethics I have ever seen he inspired me through college and inspires me now as he has completed physical therapy school and has plans to change medicine in the future. I am proud to call John a friend and groomsman.
Bridesmaid
A California girl and A Colorado girl brought together by the College of Ag in Arizona. Marlena rode horses, drove a Jeep and worked at Starbucks — I was obviously very jealous of her life so we had to be friends! You're one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I would not have survived the early ambassador mornings in college without you! We’ve come a long way from our coffee dates and cowboy hats and I’m so excited to have you by my side!
Groomsman
My first real “adult” friend! Joey and I met downing a few brews by the pool in Houston. Although I am more Country and Joe is all Rock we became fast friends hanging out almost every weekend. I see Joey and his wife Jaq as a model couple, and parents. And don’t get me started on how cute their little girl is!
Bridesmaid
Megan was the first person I met in Houston and instantly became my long lost sister from Texas! We met at — you guessed it — the dog park, and probably spend more time there than we’d like to admit. When she’s not rocking out with her bass guitar or studying for her nursing exams you can frequently find Megan sneaking into our apartment to rescue Lex and take him for a walk. Thank you for all the coffee runs, pool days, and doggy sleepovers!! And most of all, thank you for being a founding member of our TexasFam and now joining us on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Finally, my sister found a great guy I am happy to call my friend! I look forward to more whiskey-drinking, cigar-smoking camping adventures, my brother! You’re a welcome addition to our family.
Bridesmaid
Shelby has been my bonus sister for years and I’ve actually known her one day longer than I’ve know Hayden. Our friendship has grown so much especially since we convinced her to move to Texas with us! Whether it’s camping, sleepovers in Austin or sheltering from random TX storms, I can always count on Shelby to pack up her pets and be ready for a good time! Like her brother, Shelby has become one of the people that know me better than I know myself sometimes. I’m so grateful for our friendship and I’m so excited to officially become your sister!
Groomsman
After surviving countless pre-med classes and Friday nights on University Blvd in Tucson together, Henry had to move out to Houston just to be closer to me. Okay, well maybe he also came to go to Optometry school too! Even though we don’t see each other daily like in school, I have enjoyed becoming close friends and confidants. I am proud to have him standing up there with me at my wedding, just not too close our he makes me look like a midget.
Bridesmaid
Mikella Mae! My little cousin from the mountains. Mikella is one of the sweetest, strongest, and most photogenic people I've ever met -- definitely someone I want to be when I grow up. I don't think we have ever actually lived in the same state at the same time but from all of our childhood memories and the MANY pictures we have, you never would've guessed!. Thank you for all of the Tahoe beach days, Disneyland meetups, and for sharing our love for animals. I love having you as my cousin and I can't wait to have you by my side!
Groomsdog
The Lexman. BatDog. Mr. Turd Once a Houston Street Dog turned to an "Indoor Apartment Dog". He can be found sleeping on the couch, chasing squirrels, or begging for a bite of your dinner. Wet Grass? Forget about it. But you can bet he'll put up a fight and hold his ground if you try to steal his heated blanket
Bridesmaid
My favorite littlest sister who used to be my mini-me but now looks like my taller and older twin - despite our 10 year age gap! We share a love for painting, trap shooting, and taking our dogs anywhere and everywhere! No one else we would trust more to escort Lex down the aisle on our big day.
