In essence, it means to dress up a bit! It’s a step down from true formal/black tie attire, and a little step up from semi-formal. No need for tuxes or gowns, but wear something that makes you feel nice. Need some inspiration? Check these websites out. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Unfortunately, because of limited space, we don’t have the ability to host everyone. But, don’t worry, you’ll be well taken care of and amongst great people.
We love kids! However, our venue does specify a limited number of kids that can be present at our wedding. Because of this, please only bring your kids if your invitation specifically mentions their names.
The parking lot for the venue is located one block away at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1001 E. 3rd St., Long Beach 90802 (no, the wedding isn’t here, don’t worry!) . There is somewhat limited parking at this lot, though, so please carpool with your friends and family in any way possible. We will have space for all of you, do not worry, but it will make things easier with fewer cars. Plus, less cars = less fossil fuels, right? Thank you! And, if you are young and spritely, please consider parking on the street near the venue - there is ample street parking with no restrictions. Plus, walking is good for you! https://www.realsimple.com/health/fitness-exercise/benefits-walking Of course, if you have mobility restrictions, please contact us via email and we can specify the best way for you to park.
Our dinner is buffet-style and will include vegetarian options. To communicate your specific needs, however, our online RSVP will include a question about dietary restrictions. Please communicate to us here what you need and we'll make sure to contact the caterer on your behalf. In case you're wondering, "I don't like tomatoes" does not count as a dietary restriction.....
As soon as possible! We kindly request that you let us know your plans no later than November 15th.
Lebron James does play for the Los Angeles Lakers. So, you might want to check that out while you're in town....
