Mackenzie Bond

Maid of Honor

My most steadfast friend. Mackenzie and I have known one another since sixth grade, the same amount of time I've know Gavin. We had honors science together, and Mackenzie had bangs. Mack and I really got to know each other freshman year of high school. I distinctly remember our first sleepover. It was so long ago my dad had to drop me off and her big brother Jacob had to drive us to school. Since then we've come to know the Lord together, vacationed together, cried together, done heartbreak together, gotten ready together, and fallen in love together. This past year I watched Mack marry the man of her dreams and I couldn't think of anyone better suited to stand by my side.

Holly Tillerous

Bridesmaid

I've known Holly since high school. We learned many things together, like how to drive, for example. Thank God we're both still here to actually get married. Holly is one of the most thoughtful and caring humans. She is the kindest friend and knows exactly how to make her people feel known. She also gives the best gifts. This season is so sweet because Holly is getting married in November 2020 to her best friend Sam. I couldn't ask ask for someone more kind and genuine to stand with me on the big day.

Morgan Cooley

Bridesmaid

Morgan Cooley. Beautiful inside and out. She has been a true friend for so long. Morgan also had honors science with me, same as Mack, and we have some lovely pictures together on our first middle school trip to Biltmore. Morgan does it all, but what she does best is love people well. She's the best listener and supporter. I shed some tears when Morgan left for Auburn University, we all did. Thank goodness she came out of Alabama with her husband Dylan. Even better Dylan took a job in Nashville and Morgan is headed to the Vandy MAcc in the fall. She is finally back in Tennessee, and I am so glad to have her by my side on May 23rd.

Morgan Hite

Bridesmaid

Morgan Hite. She's stepped into a lot of roles for me over the years. She took a stent as my high school dance coach. She took over being my young life leader. She has always let me find a place in her house, and she helped form what she endearingly coined "Core 4". She's been an example of faith and fortitude for the past six years. Morgan also gave me three precious humans to love on, Collins, Walker, and most recently Elizabeth. I'm glad she made a place in Halls and a house that always feels like home.

Marina Dupes

Bridesmaid

Marina and I have known one another since middle school dance team. She is funny and compassionate and a loyal friend. It has been so sweet to have Marina just down the road for the past year. We've shared books, meals, and good conversation. Marina has so many incredible qualities, but I think my favorite is that she loves my dog as much as I do. In true type 4 fashion, she's cried more about my wedding than I have, and I couldn't be more excited to have her in my corner on the big day.

Stephen Berry

Father of the Bride

My first love. He held me when I cried going to school the first time. He has checked for all the monsters and killed all the spiders. He's moved me in and moved met out. He has fixed my car, many times. He has fiercely defended me for over 20 years. Sometimes too much, haha. He's attended all my awards ceremonies, camera in hand, of course. When I joined the cheer team in college he showed up to every single game. By junior year was named "ultimate cheer dad". He was the ultimate cheer dad, but he was really just the ultimate dad. God blessed with an extraordinary father. I feel so lucky to have someone like my dad to give me away.

Tammy Berry

Mother of the Bride

She did her best to get me to love pink and glitter. I never would. Mom, just like dad, has shown up and supported me through every season of life. She's always pushed me towards new opportunities and equipped me with confidence to take on new challenges. Although she's resilient, she cried in the car when she left me at college, a very Leigh Anne Touhy moment. I know that this season of life will bring sweet memories and likely a few more tears.

Greylan Egan

Best Man

Greylan is Gavin’s big brother. He’s been around longer than anyone really and we’re glad the big day won’t be any different.

Noah Egan

Groomsman

Noah is Gavin’s cousin. They’ve been neighbors and best friends from childhood into adulthood. We couldn’t be more happy to have him be a part of the big day.

Dylan Gresham

Groomsman

Dylan and Gavin go way back. They played baseball together throughout middle and high school and we’re glad he’s standing up with Gavin on the big day.

Mason Smelcer

Groomsman

Mason and Gavin were fast friends freshman year at Maryville College. They lived a few doors down from one another in Gamble Hall. Gavin and I both have fond memories of Mason from school and we are so glad he’ll be a part of our big day!

Brady Elliot

Groomsman

Brady and Gavin have been friends since third grade. Gavin couldn’t imagine the big day without him and we’re glad he’ll be standing with us on such a special day!

Collins Hite

Flower Girl

I remember hearing the news that this sweet girl was going to be born in the floor of Morgan Hite’s classroom. Every bridesmaid loved her before we knew her. I held her in the hospital, watched her learn to crawl, walk, and talk, and once caught her throw up right in my hand. If you know me- that’s love. She’s almost five now and has become quite the “big girl” but I’m cherishing her while she’s little and hoping she forever refers to the piano as the “panino”.

Walker Hite

Ring Bearer

Most likely to steal the show. Another little surprise I learned about at his big sister Collins’ first birthday. I remember exactly how he looked all bundled up the day he was born. Walker is so special mostly because he’s hilarious and so darn cute but also because he is tender. There is no one more charming or funny and he is very likely to have the whole wedding laughing. Gavin and I both adore “Walk bud” and can’t wait to have him help us say “I do”.

Elizabeth Hite

Flower Girl

Oh man the news of this Hite girl got me so excited. She was the best surprise and goodness has she stolen my heart. Just like her big sister I’ve watched her walk and talk. Everyone seems to fall in love with sweet “melbeth” - even Marina. For now she calls me “ju ju”, and I’m hoping it sticks. My favorite memory was Halloween of 2020. You’ve never seen a cuter t-Rex and you’ll never see a cuter flower girl. Brace yourself for the reception because this girl has got some very serious dance moves!
