After a month (or two) talking on the phone during Summer 2023, Jordan and Eryn first met in San Diego, California at "Glaze Ice Creamery" in Pacific Beach. On this hot summer's day, Jordan got an iced coffee, but Eryn went straight for the soft serve in a waffle cone. As they walked up and down the board walk, Jordan and Eryn got to know each other over the course of three hours. Eryn talked about passing the bar, starting her new career, and how much she loves and values family. Jordan talked about his life in San Diego, biking, and his love for ultimate frisbee. But what really caught Eryn's eye, was how he talked about his Grandpa Kenny and the log cabin Grandpa Kenny built with the help of Grandma Velma. By the third date, Jordan and Eryn were inseparable. As Jordan loves a good deal, they took advantage of restaurant week in North Park, San Diego. After ordering some champagne and the steak to share, Jordan asked Eryn (out of the blue) "how do you envision your wedding?"! Although shocked, Eryn briefly thought to herself, "Momma (Diane H. Pollard) always said 'wait your turn and you'll be glad you did'". As you are joining Eryn and Jordan in France to celebrate their amour éternel ... it was in fact, her turn.
