Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

While we appreciate getting each angle of our big day, we’ve hired two wonderful photographers to capture it for us! Our ceremony will be “unplugged” so we can focus on the important piece, our families becoming one! Thank you for understanding

Can I take pictures and videos during the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! Take whatever selfies, boomerangs, videos, and snaps that you want. Feel free to use the hashtags #elizaandjordan2022 and #soontobesimmonds so you can see everyone’s pictures after the wedding!

What are the details for the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

We would love to be able to celebrate each aspect of the weekend together but due to our graciousness of the venue owners letting us use their space we opted to do a small dinner with the bridal party prior to setting up the night before. There will be a loose arrival of 2:30 on the wedding day so feel free to come early and play some yard games, venture through the ground to see the chickens, meet everyone from both sides of the family, and enjoy the beaches at The Crows Nest before the ceremony at 3:00!

Who is your photographer?

Answer

Juliette Laura Photography will be photographing our wedding! Juliette has known the bride since high school and her fiancée, Liz, will be joining her as a second shooter. We had a beautiful engagement session with them in June that captured the beauty of Maine and how much fun we have together!

Who is your caterer?

Answer

Cindy Hughes is a good friend that I met through work, she has extensive years as head pastry chef, executive chef for 9 resorts and cruises, catering director, and much more. Her partner, Bob, will be joining her to help us with the bar as well as one of Cindy’s close friends. They are all so excited to join our celebration!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, if you have any allergies or food sensitivities please let me know as soon as possible so we can accommodate some deliciousness for you!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be supplying beer from Tumbledown Brewing and a wine from Maine and Loire as well as soda water/non alcoholic beverages.

Who is creating the floral arrangements/bouquets?

Answer

We have chosen to use the talents of a female owned small business out of Dover, NH named Lyndsey Loring Design. Feel free to follow her on Instagram @lyndseyloringdesigns to see her current work!

Will you be having a band or a DJ?

Answer

We have decided to go with a highly recommended DJ, M&M Entertainment, for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Let us know if you have any music requests!

Where are some places we can stay the night before/of the wedding?

Answer

Glenmoor by the Sea is the recommended accommodations per Clia and Scott. Places near Belfast, Lincolnville, and Northport are all nearby with ample rooms/AirBnBs available (some with really gorgeous views!)

Will there be room to park?

Yes! There will be plenty of on site parking available.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

At this time because of the small size of the wedding we do not have planned transportation. If there is need of transportation we will find a way to accommodate :)

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the lawn as well as the cocktail hour. The reception will be under a large tent.

What is the “after party”?

Answer

After the reception and things have quieted down we wanted to take advantage of being all together in a gorgeous area, what better way than to have a fire and some S’mores?! Wind down and enjoy the last moments of the day with us 🤍
