Travel Note

Getting around LA

LA isn't exactly known for its public transportation. We recommend renting a car if you'll be here for the weekend, or expect to Lyft. Expect a ~35 minute drive to the venue on Sunday!

Flight

LAX

Highly recommend flying into LAX - it's the most conveniently located airport in Los Angeles with the greatest number of flights in and out of the city.

Travel Note

Areas to Stay

LA is big, here are some great neighborhoods to stay in depending on what you're looking for. Most are around ~35 min drive to Sunday's party venue. Venice / Santa Monica Beach, laidback, close to LAX. Santa Monica has better food options. Beverly Hills High-end, good food, pretty central, near hiking options (Franklin Canyon, Culver City Stairs, Brentwood Stairs). Good option for shabbat observance + proximity to Kosher restaurants. Pico / Robertson Best for kosher + shabbat-abiding visitors. West Hollywood Walkable, good food, higher energy nightlife options, gay capital of LA. Silver Lake / Los Feliz Walkable, good food, museums, arts, etc. Sherman Oaks Family friendly and good food. Closer to Sunday venue.
