FAQs

Question

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation and fun we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Question

DO I GET A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we are asking our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

We ask that all guests follow our semi-formal dress code. We hope for a beautiful fall day with the ceremony being outside and moving indoors for the reception as the sun begins to set and the temperature drops. Please check out this article if you need a better reference of what exactly semi-formal means. https://withjoy.com/blog/semi-formal-wedding-attire/

Question

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes, Waterstone has plenty of parking for all our guests with easy access to the ceremony and reception spaces.

Question

IS THE RECEPTION AT A SEPARATE PLACE THAN THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Nope! We've made it easy on everyone by planning both the ceremony and reception at Waterstone. No need to travel around to different places, just a short walk from ceremony to reception.

Question

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes, select drinks will be available through out the evening including wine, beer, and specialty cocktails. Please plan accordingly on how to get back home or to your hotel safely.

Question

WHAT SHOULD YOU AVOID DOING ON THE BIG DAY?

Answer

Please do not have your phone out during the ceremony or key moments of the day (First dance, speeches, etc.)! We encourage you to unplug and enjoy the day with us. Let our amazing photographers capture the moments so we can share them with everyone later.
