The two of us met on the dating site OkCupid, in July of 2017. I know, kind of boring, huh? Well, after some struggles in the dating world, to find our one and only, the two of us started to expand our searches for love. Living over 80 miles apart, we took a chance on each other, and had our first date in Salt Lake City. The first date started with dinner at the Red Iguana, where we played Mario Kart on Jordan's Nintendo Switch, while waiting 40 minutes for a table...oof. David was quickly falling for Jordan. He had finally found a girl who he could share his interest of video games with. After dinner, the plan was to have some fun at Top Golf. Before we even had a chance to enter the building, we were told that the wait would be over an hour long. We decided to go to the local arcade, Atomic Arcade, instead, where we mostly played Ninja Turtles. The night ended with the two of us watching Rick and Morty, and other funny shows, while chatting to learn about each other. We both knew that there would be many more nights like that to come.

After a few dates, David had been so respectful and affirming towards me. I could tell that he saw my authentic self, and he knew to take things slowly. Towards the end of the third date, David said that he had something he really wanted to ask me, but he was afraid to mess it up. I was unsure what the question would be, but I had a few ideas. He asked if he could kiss me. I smiled, and quickly agreed. That was our first kiss, and I knew from that point on.

We wanted to be unique, and for everyone to have fun. We thought that a wedding with costumes would be just that, but there's more! The month of October, and even Halloween, are very meaningful to Jordan. She was born on October 5, and Halloween, the Fall season, and even the Autumn colors are her favorite, and yet, we still have more to share! She came out as trans to her family in October of 2016 as a birthday present to herself. Thought that was it? Nope! She was prescribed hormones a couple of days before Halloween, but was scared to start right away. After a couple of days, she was ready, and started on October 31st, and has never looked back since.
