Daniella and I have known each other for 5 years. From best friends, to dates, and now Marriage! Proposing to Dani was hard, because she is like a spy, and knows everything about me from the way I act, to how I dress. I asked Pastor Jermel, and Mrs.Michelle for Dani's hand in marriage, to which I received a warm yes. This was the hard part… I had to keep this proposal a secret for just about a month. I got the ring made and picked it up in Brooklyn, and then what was always a dream became more of a reality! Two weeks later, I took Dani to a waterfront with a view of the city that I scoped out a week prior. I told her we were going to the aquarium. I walked her to the side of the park where there were no people, because she always told me she would be very upset at me if I even attempted a public proposal! With the sunset behind us, I then thought it would be the perfect time to bring out the ring and ask her the question “Will You Marry Me?” I was met with an immediate “YES!”; No more sweaty palms and nerves from then on, although she was slightly sad we still didn't go to the aquarium, it was exciting to know that this is just the start of a beautiful life together!
