We first met back in grade school in Fremont, Ohio. While we both went to different grade schools we often crossed paths at school dances or sporting events. We eventually both ended up at Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School in Fremont, Ohio. Our friendship grew during our junior year of high school. We spent many weekends together with our group of friends going to football games and other outings. Senior year, Jordan asked Courtney to prom. We remained friends while Courtney was at Saint Mary's for college. Fast forward to winter break of 2014, we were seeing each other a lot and ended up dating for a brief period. We ultimately went our separate ways due to the distance. In Spring of 2023 we reconnected. Jordan moved to Durham, NC in September 2023 to pursue a career in solar sales. He now works for United Rentals in sales and Courtney works at Duke University Hospital as a nurse practitioner on a cardiothoracic surgery stepdown floor. Over the last two years we have really enjoyed spending time with our family, friends, traveling to new cities and countries (we collect magnets from every new city we visit together), and evening walks with our goldendoodle Riley. Jordan managed to surprise Courtney with an engagement at the Marblehead Lighthouse in Marblehead, Ohio over Memorial Day weekend with our parents and all of our siblings, niece and nephews. We are so excited for this next chapter and look forward to celebrating with all of our loved ones on June 6, 2026.
