Boettcher Mansion & Nature Preserve
Historic mansion and nature preserve to explore. Across the street from the parking lot is an area with incredible views. It is also the Windy Saddle Trailhead; an out and back hiking trail.
Miner's Alley Performing Arts Theatre
Ring of Fire will be showing - a high-energy jukebox musical that brings the legendary songs of Johnny Cash on stage.
Red Rocks Amphitheater (shows & hiking)
During the day, you can explore the walking and hiking trails surrounding Red Rocks. In the evening, enjoy a band coming through for the weekend. Schedule is TBD for the weekend of June 26-29. Saturday mornings, enjoy yoga on the rocks! Find tickets on the event website.
Dinosaur Ridge (fossil viewings)
Accessible walking paths to explore fossils and learn about history of the land.
Apex Park Trailhead on Lookout Mountain
There is a potion of the trail that is always 2 way traffic with both hiker and bikers always allowed. It is an out and back trail with beautiful scenery. You can hike anywhere from 0-16 miles. There is a section of the trail (inside the gates) that swaps between hiker only or bike only. On hiker only days, you can make this trail into a loop with various lengths and options to add on (look at map to plan your route). Hiker only on odd calendar days. Bike only on even calendar days.
Adventure West (Tubing in Golden CO)
Tubing down Clear Creek in downtown Golden. Very easy recreational tubing from the paved path right in town.
Bison Viewing Location (easily accessible)

Lion's Park (downtown Golden, next to the river & pedestrian/bicycle path)
Playground for kids, grassy areas to rest.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park ($10 vehicle fee)
Beautiful hikes and walks in a Colorado State Park.
Clear Creek Canyon Trail (paved & very accessible, starts downtown Golden)
Walk along the river and enjoy the paved path.
Matthews / Winters Park (adjacent to Red Rocks)
Many different trail variations for all types of hikes/runs. Can hike near Red Rocks Amphitheater and enjoy the unique red rock formations.
Coors Brewery (dowtown Golden, can book tours In advanced)
Can book brewery tours in advanced or just enjoy a drink in their taproom. Reservations still need to be purchase/booked online if you'd like to just go to their taproom (hospitality room).
New Terrain Brewery (Near Golden)
This is our go-to date night spot. After a hike/bike ride at North Table Mountain, enjoy their outdoor brewery vibes with food trucks!
