When & where is the wedding?

Our wedding is on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at Woodland Gardens Venue Address: 20720 Westside Hwy SW Vashon, WA. 98070

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Travel to the venue requires a 15-20-minute ferry ride. Please arrive 30 to 60 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure all guests are on time. The ceremony starts at 4:00 pm. Drinks will be provided.

What should I wear?

Answer

Think polished and pretty, but not overly formal! Garden party attire is a step up from casual—perfect for an outdoor celebration. Sundresses, midi dresses, flowy skirts, jumpsuits, and dressy separates are all great choices for women. For men, slacks or chinos with a button-down shirt or a polo work well (jackets and ties are optional). Please, no jeans, shorts, and no white (save that for the bride!). We can't wait to see you looking sharp!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unless specified on the RSVP form, please do not bring additional plus one's or guests.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Our wedding is an adult-only celebration. Unless we have personally reached out with an exception, please keep your little ones at home.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, but it is limited. If possible, please carpool to the best of your ability. The venue is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from the Point Defiance (Tacoma)/Tahlequah ferry terminal and approximately 15-20 minutes from the Fauntleroy (Seattle)/Vashon ferry terminal.

What if I have specific dietary needs/restrictions or need accommodations?

If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or other special accommodations, please let us know! We want everyone to enjoy the celebration, so feel free to reach out to either the bride or groom directly. We'll make sure your needs are taken care of.
