FAQs

Question

What should I expect during the ceremony?

Answer

Orthodox Christian ceremonies are rich in traditions (crowning, common cup, ceremonial walk) liturgical language, and will appear very different than a western ceremony. We understand this may be new to most guests, we appreciate you being here with us and encourage all to follow along the pamphlet we provide the day of.

Question

Are there any church etiquette or guidelines?

Answer

This is a sacred church ceremony, so modest and respectful attire is appreciated. We kindly ask that the atmosphere remain reverent, please arrive on time, silence phones, and refrain from guest photography during the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:15pm ET.

Question

What does the dress code "Coastal Cocktail" look like?

Answer
