It all started at the Duggan’s house (like so many relationships do). It was August 2016 at Melissa’s birthday party in the Duggan’s house. As the party continued on, Chris fell asleep on the couch (typical behavior). Jordan woke Chris up and called him a party pooper. She told him that she wouldn’t be back until next August for Melissa’s birthday so he needed to come hang out with everyone. He was dazzled and scared so he got up, and then shortly after, Chris started sending facebook invites to Jordan for his birthday party in September and another event in December. Jordan was not able to attend either of these events. Chris was persistent and a year later he invited Jordan to another party. Jordan was finally able to attend the celebration. It was the Fourth of July weekend back in 2017 in the backyard of the Duggan’s house. Many friends could tell that Chris and Jordan were connecting as they laughed and danced throughout the day. Even two friends, Ryan and Tyler, asked Chris if he was going to make a move. Chris pretended he had no idea what the guys were talking about. It wasn’t until the fireworks display that Chris finally kissed Jordan! The next day, Chris told his dad that he was going to a concert the following night. Mr. Duggan indirectly told Chris he was an idiot and to take Jordan out. Chris asked Jordan to go to breakfast with him the following morning and she agreed. Afterwards, they exchanged numbers and traveled by car and/or ferry to their second date in Greenport, NY. For three long years, they traveled back and forth seeing each other on weekends and holidays. In 2020, Chris moved to Connecticut and on December 26th, 2021, he proposed at Orient Point next to the ferry that they traveled back and forth on. Chris and Jordan can’t wait for you to join them on July 9th, 2023 at Aria in Prospect, CT to celebrate the start of their next chapter!
