The story began about 4 or 5 years ago, though neither of them can remember exactly. Jordan and Catherine matched with each other on the dating app, Bumble, and after a series of messages where they were hitting it off, the topic of pets came up. Catherine mentioned her beloved cat, Cammie...and Jordan revealed his extreme cat allergy. Reluctantly, Jordan thought it was best that they go their separate ways since his cat allergy was no joke, and dating someone with a resident feline just wasn’t in the cards. It was a tragic dealbreaker for them. A few years later, Jordan was given a new medicine and could be around cats again! And so began his two-year quest to reconnect with Catherine. Every time they saw each other on the dating apps they matched. And every time, Jordan desperately tried to let her know it was him and that they could finally meet. But the messages were never seen, like messages in bottles washed up on the shore. Until November 2024. They matched again, just like always, but this time, Catherine said hi. Jordan wasted no time and asked Catherine out on a date to Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Shop, a place that has been central to their story ever since. They quickly realized they had so much in common and were always counting down the minutes until they would see each other again. They both knew that something about this was different in the best way. In no time at all, they couldn’t imagine life without the other. Since that first coffee together, Catherine graduated with her doctorate, they went to Mexico to visit Catherine's parents, had many adventures big and small, got engaged, and now they're planning the wedding that they would love to see you at! Whether you knew the bride first or the groom, you probably knew that each waited patiently (and maybe a little stubbornly) for the right person to come along. And now it’s clear, it was worth every minute. Jordan and Catherine proved that sometimes timing really is everything. And the love they found was well worth the wait. 💛
