As most of you know, when Blake and I started dating back in May of 2021 it was not the first try! Our mothers who met in Wine Club decided to setup their two single kids on a date fresh out of college. Blake and I both had different goals - mine having nothing to do with dating- and parted ways until our best friends decided to get hitched! We both happened to be in Brie & Andrew's bridal party, and both "happened" to be walking down the aisle together (per request of Blake Brunn). After a few beverages, I mustered up the courage to make the first move. I'll spare you of details for the rest of the weekend, but after the festivities ended our relationship did not! From that day forward we both were committed to each other and fell in love fast :)

It all began at the Palkovich cabin when Tracy & Brad Brunn staying up for the weekend! We went down to the lake for a boat ride without the dogs, which is weird. After a few minutes Blake noticed he "forgot" his sunglasses up at the cabin so he went back up to retrieve. After a few minutes, Blake was walking down with Olive on a leash and collar and I thought to myself, "why is she on a leash." I should rephrase- I did not think this to myself; I said it out loud. Blake proceeded to let Olive off the leash and she ran around like a mad woman for 5 minutes not wanting to be caught. After we finally got ahold of her, I read Olive's collar stating "mom- dad has a question for you." "What could this question be?!?!?" I thought to myself. *Pause for effect* Then my 6' 8" sweetie got on one knee, asking if I'd spend forever with him.
