We're Getting Married

Blake and I first met way back in 2008, what was 8th grade for us. We were paired up to work on a group project in German class. We immediately became friends, having everything in common from sports to loving animals and a passion for traveling the world, not long after that our relationship began :) Since the beginning we have supported each others dreams, pushing one another to be the best person we can be.

Blake and I recently took a trip out to California to visit our good friends Amanda and Ian. After we arrived, we decided we would pick a night to dress up and go to a restaurant on the beach. As we neared toward the end of our trip, that night had finally arrived (little did I know they had a big surprise planned). We got all dressed up and headed off to Mastro's Steakhouse in Malibu. Everything was going great! We found a spot to park and everyone decided we should go see the sunset before our reservation. Amanda had told me that the reservation was made for 6:30pm and it was 6:15pm (anyone who knows me, knows I am a very punctual person) so a little worry started to set in that we were going to miss our reservation. We all started running down to the beach as the sun was beginning to set. During this time Amanda let everyone know she got the dinner reservation switched to 8:00pm. We finally made it down to the beach just in time for sunset. What I didn't notice was that Amanda and Ian had stopped walking with us. Blake started to talk about all of our big life events we have gone through together. At this moment it finally hit me what was happening, he than got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I SAID YES!!!
