During Blair and Jordan's freshmen year at KU in 2014, Jordan became good friends with a girl named Sydney through Ultimate Frisbee, who turned out to be Blair's best friend. One day while Jordan and Sydney were studying with some friends in Anschutz Library, Blair came to drop something off for Sydney. Blair introduced herself to Jordan and when Blair was walking away, Jordan turned to Sydney and said, "Wow she is stunning, I'm going to marry her". It would take a while though for Jordan to ever ask Blair out. Sophomore year, as their friend groups started to merge, Blair began to date Jordan's roommate, Shane. That was when Blair and Jordan started to became great friends. After Blair and Shane broke it off after a few months, Jordan and Blair stayed in contact. Throughout the spring, Jordan and Blair would meet up to study together and were partners on an intramural Ultimate team, which is when they started to become best friends. They went separate ways during the summer, Blair interning at a Younglife Camp and Jordan going to East Asia. When they returned, they picked up right where they left off. Throughout the fall and into the spring, their friendship grew even more and Jordan couldn't take it any longer. One night on the drive home from a dinner they attended together, Jordan finally asked her out on a date. A couple months later, to Jordan's dismay, Blair moved to Dallas. The year was full of phone calls, facetimes, and a few surprise visits. Jordan proposed to Blair on March 17th, 2018, at their favorite spot - the porch swing of Jordan's college home. Blair finally made her way back to Lawrence, KS in May so the pair was reunited. They are excited to celebrate & boogie with you all on October 14th!
