What should I wear?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, we ask that guests join us in formal attire to celebrate this special occasion. Gentlemen: A suit and tie — no tuxedo necessary! It’s still the beach, after all. Ladies: A cocktail dress, ankle-length dress, or dressy separates would be perfect. Think elevated, breezy, and ready to dance. As for Friday’s welcome drinks and Sunday brunch? Feel free to keep it casual! Sundresses, flowy tops, a nice pair of jeans, a button-down, a polo — whatever says “I’m here to relax and celebrate.”

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the ICONA Avalon, and you’ll find additional hotel options listed in the Travel section of this site. Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Round-trip transportation will be provided on Saturday to and from Union League National. Shuttles will depart from ICONA Avalon and Princeton Bar and Grill. If you plan to use the shuttle, please let us know when you RSVP. There’s a spot on the card to indicate this. It’ll help us make sure everyone gets there comfortably and on time!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during our ceremony. We’ve hired a photographer to capture everything, and we’d love to look out and see your faces, not your phones, in our memories!

Is there a gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a short gap between the ceremony and the reception. If you're looking for something to do, check out the Things to Do page on our site. We’ve listed a few spots that will be open and worth visiting!
