I am glad you asked. There will be buses from The Countrypolitan Hotel downtown Nashville to the wedding venue and then from the wedding to the afterparty at American Legion in East Nashville. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO USE THE PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION even if you are not staying at the hotel. The wedding venue is approximately 45 minute drive from downtown, there is some parking available, but they do not allow overnight parking and if you leave your car there I have no idea how you will get it back sorry. The afterparty at American Legion is about a 15 minutes drive from The Countrypolitan/downtown. Ubers/Lyft are plentiful and relatively cheap in Nashville and I wouldn't anticipate it being more than $15 at the most to wherever you need to go.
WEDDING: Something nice, something fun. You won't outshine the bride I promise, but would love it if you tried. Would prefer no one wear white but I also love a little drama - just know we will be talking about you behind your back and it will be mean. Please no jeans (exception is if you are wearing ALL denim dress or suit - see Britney and Justin 2001 American Music Awards - then it is allowed and encouraged). Men: Suit and Tie. Boots, belt buckles, bolo ties welcome but not required Women: Formal/cocktail, don't stress about it. We won't be mad as long as you can dance in it. WELCOME PARTY: wear whatever you want - jeans, pajamas, evening gown, follow your arrow wherever it points
