Denine
Bridesmaid
Amie and Denine met while their moms were walking them to kindergarten. Denine grabbed Amie's hand and skipped off, and Amie didn't really have any say in the matter. Since graduating high school they have often lived on opposite sides of the country from each other, but have always stayed in each other's lives.
Matt
Groomsman
Matt and Jordan met when they were 13 years old at lunch break. They started skateboarding and breakdancing together. Since then they have shared many great experiences together and though they haven’t lived in the same city for over 10 years, they are very close and see each other quite often.
Rebecca
Bridesmaid
Amie and Rebecca have been friends since third grade, when Rebecca's family moved in down the street from Amie. They went to elementary and middle school together, as well as the University of Guelph where they first shared a dorm, and then a house with their friends in Guelph throughout university.
Christian
Groomsman
Christian and Jordan met at the skate park and played Skate after school almost everyday. They eventually lived in a one bedroom apartment together while going to film school. Even when they weren’t living in the same city they would still talk almost every day. They generally argue like an old married couple but it's all for fun.
Amber
Bridesmaid
Amie and Amber met in elementary school, and became close friends when their Dads starting coaching their hockey team together. That friendship continued throughout middle school, and high school which they attended together, and university - when Amie would visit Amber in Waterloo.
Kasey
Groomsman
Kasey and Jordan met when they were in film school. Kasey has a unique sense of humor and is very laid back, enjoying whatever he is doing at the time. They have worked on many projects together and have had many adventures travelling together.
Teresa
Bridesmaid
Teresa was the first person Amie met when she first moved to Vancouver to attend VFS. They sat next to each other in the welcome orientation and realized they were in the same class. Teresa moved to Toronto shortly after Amie and they lived together for years (along with Jordan for a short period) before Amie moved out to travel/move to Vancouver with Jordan.
Stephen
Groomsman
Stephen is Jordan’s middle brother and his longest relationship outside his parents. They live in the same building, love to hike together and work on goofy film projects together. They share a passion for meditation and exploring the mind in unusual ways.
Sonia
Bridesmaid
Amie and Sonia both went to VFS but ended up meeting in Toronto through Teresa. They all moved in together, before Sonia decided to move out on her own. Despite this, they still became close friends, and Sonia made it up to Amie by moving back to Vancouver!
Nathan
Groomsman
Nathan is Jordan’s youngest brother. Growing up they shared a passion for skateboarding as well music and making videos. They also live in the same building and see each other all the time, often helping each other take care of their dogs Taisson and Remy who are BFFs!
Madelaine
Bridesmaid
Amie and Maddy met in Toronto, attending music festivals and parties together and quickly becoming friends. So much so that she followed Amie to Vancouver when she moved back. (She also got a job in Vancouver, but that's beside the point).
