Question

When and Where is the Wedding?

Answer

Surprise! We're actually having a private intimate ceremony with our family prior to our reception in the evening but we still wanted to be able to celebrate afterwards with all of you! The reception will take place September 28th, 2025 at the Lewisburg Community Center located at 265 E Clay St, Lewisburg, OH 45338.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at anytime. If for some reason you cannot figure out how to RSVP on here, just text one of us and let us know if you can make it or not!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by September 1st, 2025 you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however we need to have an exact guest count so we can have adequate time to prepare for the correct amount of people coming. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodation's for you and we would hate for that to happen).

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding reception, please indicate "WILL NOT ATTEND" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "attending", but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify us as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding : )

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however we have decided to keep our reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family or otherwise specified in the invitation. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is cocktail attire/semi-formal/Sunday's best- whatever you want to call it. Wear whatever makes you feel good- just please no jeans and of course no WHITE!!

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: Whites, Ivories, and Creams. As for other colors, we aren't having a bridal party so wear whatever color makes you feel pretty : )

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Since we are having a private ceremony, we ask that you arrive NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the start time of the reception on the invitation. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes and it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat before the fun begins!

Question

Will the reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our reception will be indoors but there is a covered patio out back if you wish to step out and get some air at any point!

Question

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund/wedding registry?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to either our honeymoon or registry, we have a tab on our website and/or a card can be dropped in the box at the reception.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Well, sort of. There will be beer/seltzer/ wine & non alcoholic drinks. If you want the hard stuff - you know what to do. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you! If you plan to drink, please do so responsibly and make arrangements to get home safely.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our reception is located in Lewisburg, OH. We have decided not to do a hotel block to give our guests the freedom to stay wherever they want if they choose to to stay nearby. If you would like to stay close by click the travel tab for some local options!
