Neither of us can remember the first time we met, but we do know that we have been in each others lives since freshman year of high school. We officially stared dating in 2011 when Alicia was living in San Luis Obispo and Jordan was in Scotts Valley. Alicia had come home to SV for a weekend and decided to reach out to Jordan to reconnect... one hike turned into two, which turned into dinner and a movie, and the rest was history! Eight years later and here we are :)

Valentines Day 2020. Jordan had to use the element of surprise since Alicia was starting to be a bit too inquisitive. We had always agreed to not get engaged on a holiday or brithday, so it was a total shock when Jordan got down on one knee underneath the huge japanese maple in our backyard and asked to spend the rest of our lives together. It was perfect.
