We met the summer of 2019, at 3AM across the street of Coconut Joe's. I was by myself sitting on the curb, wondering where the guy that I was with was at and how the hell I was going to get home. Along comes Jordan who was with a man he was suppose to be Ubering, but decided to ditch driving to hang out with his passenger. We started chatting on the corner of Perry Square for a while, when we realized there was a man passed out face first in the grass. We decided to take matters into our own hands... using this man's phone that we found in his pocket to contact his friends and get him a ride home. After accomplishing the rescue and obviously saving this man's life, Jordan offered me a ride home since I was a bit stranded. Knowing that he was an Uber driver, and putting faith into the Universe that he was telling the truth, I took his offer. We then walked hand in hand up State Street (again just meeting for the first time) with his creepy passenger trailing behind as we ventured back to his car. I directed him on how to get to my house, or so he thought, making him drop me off a block away from my house so they didn't know where I actually lived! Jordan gave me his number, I thanked him, I got out of the car, and disappeared into the dark running to where my home actually was. I never called Jordan, and actually deleted his number after getting back together with my ex. Almost a year later, Jordan and I matched on Tinder. He sent me a message asking if I remembered him and I responded "I did" while proceeding to ask if he remembered me. He quickly replied with "not sure how I could forget..." and the rest is history... Although I disregarded our first encounter, the Universe made sure to bring him back around a second time. Now we are set to be married this October and are looking forward to all of our other crazy adventures that await us.
