This house home to James Habersham Jr., played host to many secret meetings for the independence of the thirteen colonies. In 1811, the house became the first bank of Georgia, known as the Planter's Bank. Union General Zebulon York set up headquarters in the Olde Pink House during Sherman's March to the Sea.
Rhett is located at the bottom floor of the Alida hotel. They have a good happy hour, and breakfast/brunch. Check their schedule, but usually good live music on Thursdays.
Poe's Tavern is directly across the street from the Alida hotel. Good lunch spot and great burger.
