We are more than excited to celebrate this chapter of our lives with you!
Jordan moved into my apartment complex in September of 2020—just downstairs from me. On his very first day moving in, I happened to be sitting on the porch when I saw him. Somehow, luck was on my side, and he came over to talk to me. From that moment on, we were inseparable, hanging out every single day. At the time, Jordan was working long 12-hour days at Grayhawk Golf Club during overseed and tournament season. He had a Pit Bull puppy named Gianna, and since I had a puppy around the same age—Ellie, my German Shepherd—he asked if I could help walk her. That simple favor quickly turned into something much more. After about five months of knowing each other, we decided to get a Chihuahua together and named him Remington. I was home during the day and attending cosmetology school at night. Between September and November, our relationship naturally grew from friendship into something deeper. Jordan would ask me to stay the night after class, and before I knew it, I was cooking and cleaning during the day while he worked. It wasn’t forced—it just felt right. What made our relationship special was how safe it felt. We both had our own trials and tribulations, the kind that might make most people walk away—especially after only knowing each other a few months. But we stayed. Somehow, even in uncertainty, it felt meant to be. The following September, we made a big, bold decision: we packed up and moved 14 hours away to San Antonio, Texas. Once again, it felt like exactly where we were supposed to be. After just one year together, it felt like we’d known each other a lifetime. Our journey didn’t stop there. Texas led us to two incredible, memory-filled years in Las Vegas, Nevada, living in Summerlin. Eventually, we found ourselves settling in Cottonwood, Arizona, where we are today. Along the way, I discovered my passion for working with children and have continued to grow my career. Watching Jordan flourish has been just as amazing—moving from long tournament days at Grayhawk in Phoenix, to TPC San Antonio, to Assistant Superintendent at TPC Las Vegas, and now to Seven Canyons in Sedona. Every move, every step forward, has been made possible by his dedication and the love he has for his family. I can’t wait to see where life takes us next. This is the simple story of how my fiancé and I met—and how our love has carried us across states, adventures, and into a future we can’t wait to keep writing together.
