We're Getting Married!

Well to start she was late (turns out setting an alarm for p.m. and not a.m. by mistake doesn't work when you plan to meet in the morning) obviously, but given the benefit of the doubt after 2.5/3hrs (no additional thanks were given to the terribly foggy weather) we finally got to have coffee together. Although, he had almost given up on her showing up; right as she sat down at the high top by the door he was walking out and caught her flustered smile. First date so not awkward at all... But after both being caffeinated and getting lunch we went for quite the brisk walk (because you know beginning of April in NW Minnesota is the warmest time of year). We took miss Lily for a walk around Greenwood Trails and talked most literally about anything and everything, Lily trying to make friends with anyone on the trail and any furry "friends" that decided to pop out that day, from there it all just clicked and fell into place. Yes, he did make me roll for initiative.
