Neither of us expected something so right to come from a dating app. The swiping was fun, but only one swipe really mattered: the one that told us we were a match. At the time, it felt small. Just a simple, “Oh nice, this person thinks I’m cute,” mixed with a cautious, “Hopefully they won’t ghost me.” What we didn’t know then was that getting to truly know each other would become the best part. Somewhere between the first dates, the laughter, the nerves, and figuring each other out, things started to feel different in the best way. Dating was fun, sometimes scary, but totally worth it. Since then, we’ve built a life together that we truly love. We’ve taken on all the big, real-life moments side by side. Like buying our home, navigating job changes, and learning (day by day) how to do this parenting thing together. Through every achievement, every challenge, we’ve kept choosing each other. And now, six years later to the day, we’re stepping into our married era. Still laughing, still learning, and still choosing each other, every single day.
