Traveling to the Jersey Shore

Best ways to get to the Jersey Shore: 1) FLY+DRIVE: Newark (50min), JFK (1.5 hrs), LaGuardia (1.5 hrs) 2) TRAIN: NJ Transit from Penn Station, Amtrak from Boston to Penn station or EWR. 3) DRIVE: 1.5 hours from NYC (without traffic), 4.5 hours from Boston (without traffic).

Flight

Newark Airport (EWR)

Newark (EWR) is the easiest airport to fly into. From here, you can either take an Uber/Lyft (45 min - 1 hr depending on traffic and ~$50) or take the train (1 hr 40 mins and ~$15).

While Spring Lake has plenty to offer a short walk or bike ride away, you can also rent a car if you're planning on exploring outside of Spring Lake. Please note that you are not allowed to park on the street overnight and will have to park on Ocean Ave or at the Spring Lake Train Station if parking is not available where you are staying.
