In the national park, the high will be in the 60's with lows being in the 40's
Ladies- If you are in the wedding party, please wear a long forest green dress. It might be cold so please wear a shaw if needed. Fur will look best but not required. For shoes, anything comfortable because we will be walking to the ceremony. I will be wearing hiking boots. Men- Please wear a formal suit. Shoes are whatever you feel comfortable in because we will be walking to the ceremony. It is not paved.
Per National Park guidelines, only a limited amount of people can attend the ceremony. You will get an invitation stating whether or not you can attend the ceremony. For those who can't go to the ceremony, you can still go to the national park but you unfortunately will not be able to attend the ceremony. After the ceremony, people can go their own ways and explore the national park.
I will be printing out a copy of our wedding permit for each vehicle. This permit will allow entrance into the park without having to buy a timed entry pass. You will still need to buy a ticket into the park though. When you get to the front entrance, show the permit and then you will be asked to pay a park entrance fee. It is by vehicle not person. Only 3 vehicles are allowed so we will have to carpool.
The ceremony will be located in Rocky Mountain National Park, in Estes Park. The specific location is Sprague Lake. The location of the dock is across the water of the parking lot. Under the gallery tab is where you can find pictures of the ceremony location.
