Question

What time zone is your schedule in?

All times listed on this website will be for Chicago time (central time zone)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Only those children that will be part of the ceremony (i.e. flower girl and ring bearers) will be invited.

What should I wear?

The Dress Code for our wedding is Semi-Formal/Cocktail attire.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

Where is the ceremony located? What about the reception?

Answer

Both the Ceremony AND Reception are located in the same location at 'The Arbory' near the Fulton Market District (Chicago, IL). Both will be held indoors.

Question

Where can I park? How do I get there?

Answer

We encourage guests to Uber to the venue, but either way, there will be a rented lot with a limited amount of spots about a block away from the venue, if needed. The address is 2233 W Ohio St, Chicago, IL 60612. There is also open street parking around the venue. We will have a 39 passenger bus shuttle that will take guests from the Arbory back to the renaissance hotel at the end of the night. From there it is a quick walk over to the courtyard if that’s where you are staying. Unfortunately the bus is only going to have time to make one trip from the Renaissance to the Arbory prior to the wedding so that will mostly be reserved for immediate family. But please feel free to use it to get back to your hotels!

Question

I hear there are going to be Food Trucks....How is that going to work?

Answer

As you RSVP, you will pick the food you want. Similar to a normal wedding that is catered, our Food Trucks will prepare and place the food table by table. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any Dietary restrictions, and we will accommodate.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and within our Venue capacity limitations. Our wedding is strictly RSVP. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The Bridal parties will be taking pictures for about 60-90 minutes, depending on traffic. Guests can head straight to the Reception location where there will be charcuterie and beverages.
