Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Maranda Kameron Seney and Jordan Thomas Mayfield
While you're in town, we'd love to share some of our favorite places and spaces with you!

Saint Edwards State Park

14445 Juanita Drive Northeast, Kenmore, WA 98028

This park, and the stunning lodge seated in the center of it, feels plucked straight from a book. It's a lovely spot for a walk, whether you want a small picnic or a longer walk through the forest and down to the lakeside. It's also where we took our engagement photos!

Whidbey Island

WA

Day trip time! Head to the Ferry to check out Whidbey Island, where Jordan and Maranda got engaged. Stroll through Langley, an idyllic coastal town, or head to Coupeville where parts of Practical Magic were filmed. Pro-tip: Penn Cove is a major producer of mussels, and they're delicious. Not scared of heights? Head to Deception Pass State Park for an unforgettable view.

Marina Park Public Beach

25 Lakeshore Plaza, Kirkland, WA 98033

In the midst of one of our favorite parts of Kirkland is this adorable lakeside park. It's the perfect starting point for a leisurely afternoon stroll, surrounded by boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and real estate that will have you running to Zillow immediately.

Thruline Coffee Co.

136 Park Lane, Kirkland, WA 98033

One of our favorite coffee shops in the area. It's the perfect place to sit with a book for a while, and it's dog friendly.

Kirkland Bakery

219 Kirkland Avenue, Kirkland, WA 98033

It is criminal that this place is not more beloved. Everything is great-- but we both agree that the almond croissant is the best we've ever had.

Bellevue Botanical Garden

12001 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98005

Want a beautiful place to spend the afternoon? Look no further! You could spend hours wandering around these beautiful gardens, we certainly have.

Island Books

3014 78th Avenue Southeast, Mercer Island, WA 98040

Maranda's favorite local bookstore! The Seattle area is filled with some incredible bookstores, but there is just something about this one that feels like coming home.
