Our Love Story

We’re both Midwesterners at heart—Jordan from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Keisha from Chicago, Illinois—but it took a move to the desert to bring us together! Our story began in Tucson, Arizona, where we both worked. During a virtual meeting, Keisha first saw Jordan on Zoom—and somehow, without having met him in person, she just knew he was the one. Guided by a mix of boldness and faith, she sent a professional (but purposeful!) LinkedIn connection, and in February 2021, Jordan sent the first message to connect. From there, everything began to unfold. We met in person for the first time during a work break, sharing a simple but meaningful conversation over coffee at Starbucks on the University of Arizona campus. We both ordered a Strawberry Acai Refresher. That moment sparked a beautiful journey of friendship, growth, and love. From the very beginning, God has been at the center of our relationship. During our first summer together, Jordan started working as the Youth and Children Director at Southside Presbyterian Church. Keisha started attending Southside Presbyterian Church to support and to spend more time with Jordan. Through this time, Keisha started attending services regularly and found a new church home! There was something beautiful about finding a new church home together and reinforcing God at the foundation of our relationship. We’ve prayed through seasons of joy and challenge, trusted God with our future, and built our relationship on a faith-based foundation. Through God’s grace, we’ve grown not only as individuals but as partners in purpose and love. His presence has been the thread that’s woven our hearts together, teaching us patience, compassion, and the true meaning of unconditional love. We chose Valentine’s Day as our union date because it is a beautiful way to symbolize our love. Uniting our hearts on a day dedicated to love represents our commitment to each other and spreading love and joy to those around us. By choosing this special day, we celebrate the power of sharing all types of love with all those around us. Now, surrounded by our dearest family and friends, we are honored to begin this next chapter—as husband and wife! With full hearts and deep gratitude, Keisha & Jordan 🤍
