We met in June of 2022 on a Christian dating app called Upward—proof that sometimes God really does use technology. Our first date was at Punchbowl Social, and to be honest… it was incredibly awkward. Neither of us is quite sure why we agreed to a second date, but we’re so grateful we did. That second date changed everything. We spent an entire day at the beach—talking, laughing, relaxing—and something clicked. What started out as nerves and uncertainty quickly began to feel natural, peaceful, and right. Just three months into dating, we made a bold decision: we committed to a trip to Mexico with Jordan’s best friend and his family. It was one of our first big leaps together, and it set the tone for the kind of relationship we would build—one rooted in trust, adventure, and faith. As our relationship grew, life moved quickly in the best way. Within our first year together, we moved in, got a dog, and stepped into a season of growth both individually and as a couple. Through it all, we supported each other with patience, grace, and a deepening love that made even the busiest days feel grounded. Every leap we’ve taken has only confirmed what we felt from the start: the feeling was right. And our love continues to flourish today.
