Bell Mountain Park and Historical Site

This previously owned private mountain peak was made a public park in 2016 and offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding area from 3000 ft above sea level. Drive to the peak or park part way and hike to to the top.

Hamilton Gardens

This botanical garden located within Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds offers more than 3,000 plants including dogwood, native azaleas, wildflowers, trillium and over 400 varieties of rhododendron, making it the largest rhododendron collection in the state.

Lake Chatuge

Surrounded by mountains, Lake Chatuge is a TVA with more than 100 miles of shoreline to enjoy boating, fishing, camping, skiing and swimming.

HIgh Shoals Falls

Take a short 1.2 mile hike on High Shoals Trail to see this collection of 5 falls with a total vertical drop of 300 feet.

Brasstown Bald

Hike or shuttle but to Georgia's highest peak at 4000 ft. Surrounded by Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, on a clear day the Atlanta Skyline and 4 states are visible from the observation deck.
