Every good story always starts with "Once upon a time..." This like other great fairy tales starts the same. Once upon a time a girl in need of a job applied to a toy store, in which her family had a long history with, good old ToysRus. It didn't take long for Yaz and Jordan to meet, being that Yaz worked in general sales, and Jordan worked in gaming sales and well... everywhere else. It took a little time but with courage and a grape propel the two began talking through facebook, hanging out after work, and of course going out to eat. Along with the two main characters of course many friends and family played a huge role in bringing the couple together and closer. Although it took a short while for the couple... (Yaz) to come to terms, the two found that they were each others perfect match, they clicked like puzzle pieces, locked arms like two monkeys in a barrel, and blasted off like Buzz and Jessie.
The past two years were full of ups and downs, new places and many new experiences. Whether it was a work or personal trip we have lived, loved, and had fun from Asheville, NC. to Madison, WI. Our most notable trip was our trip to Disney world in Orlando, Florida with Yaz's Family. It was Magical! The characters were full of life, the rides were amazing and the food was out of this world. During these two years we also adopted our lovely little stinkbug Zoey. She was a stray in need of a loving family and we couldn't resist... (mostly Yaz, who said yes immediately.) She is often a pain in the butt but she is also the sweetest ball of fur you will ever meet. These two years were wonderful and we both can't wait to start the next chapter in our story!
December 2017 was one full of magic and lights. We celebrated our anniversary by visiting the Illuminate light show, then we took a trip to Lewis Ginter's light show, but the greatest surprise came when we visited the NC Arboretum in Asheville, NC. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot we were both in awe. We stepped out of the car and began our walk around the grounds, (which were breathtaking.) We walked around for at least an hour until we decided to leave. As we were nearing the exit the big moment came. The lights were twinkling, hot chocolate brewing, and Jordan on one knee. I couldn't get the words out and was so shocked I repeated, "are you serious?" Then came the big answer... "YES, ABSOLUTELY YES!" It happened like a beautiful Hallmark Christmas movie, and boom we were engaged.
We are very excited to have you as family and friends and we thank you for all that you have done for us. We are also beyond ready for this next chapter in our lives, and unlike other beautifully written tales this is definitely not the end.
