Thanks to Gonzaga's long list of required liberal arts credits, we both enrolled in Social Dance our senior year which makes for the cutest 'how we met' story, except that Jordan always skipped... so he doesn't even remember me in that class. Then one night out at the bars (that's more like it) Molly and I were trying to bypass the long line at Jack & Dans when we ran into a group of mutual friends celebrating Jordan's 23rd birthday. After we got in, Molly goes "Hey, it’s that guy's birthday who is in our Social Dance class and he let us cut, let's go buy him a drink." And the rest is history! Molly shortly ditched us as Jordan and I spent the night chatting at the bar—Jordan captivating me with his funny and charming ways, and me probably pretending to know just enough about GU basketball to keep the conversation alive (a skill I've yet to master seven years later). Jordan walked me home and we realized we were neighbors. We rounded out senior year with a few joint block parties before graduating in 2014. After one long-distance summer in Spokane and Billings, we both moved to Seattle to pursue our careers, which is where we've spent the past 6 years surrounded by lots of amazing friends and spending all our PTO days at Swan Lake & Hayden Lake with our families. This past fall we moved to Spokane where we're currently living in John & Lynn's basement (thanks mom & dad!) and are working on our home remodel on nights and weekends. Though we've had to postpone our wedding and make some considerable changes to our plans, we can't wait to have our closest family and friends out to celebrate our wedding in the city that brought us together. Due to the circumstances out of our control, we must limit our guest list in accordance with state restrictions. Thank you for your understanding as we let the obstacles of the past year go and confidently embark on our new life together in the most uncertain of times.
