Two Are Better Than One!

Our love story began unexpectedly in the summer of 2023 through a mutual connection. Our first encounters on Zoom unfolded effortlessly followed up by an in-person meetup in Kalamazoo. Our shared values deepened our bond and exploring each other's communities became a joy. In spite of the distance of over 300 miles, our hearts found a resting place in each other, growing closer each time we met.

Two days before Christmas, Mark picked me up from the Chicago airport. Despite the usual weariness of travel days, I was supernaturally energized with no idea what was about to happen. We ventured to a botanical garden, strolling among the plants. Once there, Mark orchestrated a delightful surprise: Surrounded by some of Mark's closest friends amongst the beautiful garden was a banner "Will you marry me?" I couldn't help but shout a joyful "YES!" and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Naperville, IL!
