NYE Events

We know some will be traveling from out of town, so we wanted to suggest a few ways you can enjoy a NYE in LA! There are options for all- whether you are looking for something low-key, a place to have a nice dinner, or a more festive event!

Angels Flight Railway

350 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90071
, (213) 626-1901

This is a LA landmark! We came here on our first date, but neither of us had ridden before. We made the mistake of walking up the stairs and riding it down. Pro tip: do not do that! You can hop on at the bottom and pay at the top! The stairs are 298ft high and will cause unnecessary sweat! The railway costs $1 for a round trip ticket. Its a short ride, but classic!

Grand Central Market

317 South Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013

This LA staple is loaded with amazing food vendors. For our first date we ate at Lucky Bird, but you literally cannot go wrong with what to eat! Whether you go in the morning to enjoy a breakfast sandwhich at Eggslut, or make an evening complete with a beer from Golden Road, you'll love your experience! Make sure to top it off with a scoop of Mcconnell's Turkish Coffee ice cream before you go!

Echo Park Lake

Los Angeles, CA 90026

This DTLA park has stunning views of the skyline. There is street parking all around the edges of park. You can people watch the eclectic crowd that comes to soak in the rays. We ended our first date by walking around this park hours! We walked over 6 miles talking that day! I don't recommend walking that long, but a short walk will suffice!

Rose Parade Showcase of Floats: Washington & Sierra Madre Blvd

2948 East Washington Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91107

Disneyland Park

1313 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802
, (714) 781-4636
For all the days along the way
